Friends of Bonny the stolen Border Collie take to the skies over Miami-Dade County on Sunday, October 17, in search of the missing Key West marina mascot.

In conjunction with the launching of a new website WHEREISBONNY.COM, Bonny’s friends continue their tireless pursuit of the doggie’s abductor by hiring a Van Wagner aerial media plane to fly for five hours over Miami-Dade beaches, the Race Track at Calder, and area parks pulling an airborne message banner reading:

“WHERE IS BONNY.COM---REWARD”

Bonny’s plight and the story of her October 1st abduction from a Key West marina has aired on Miami television channels NBC6, CBS4 and UPN33, has been featured in the Miami Herald and the Key West Citizen, has aired on many South Florida radio stations, and has become a human interest story of increasing notoriety.

“We are hoping that someone will recognize her from the pictures on the website and tip us off as to her whereabouts, or that the man who has her will chose to end this by contacting us,” says Fiona Jamieson, Bonny’s distraught owner. It is believed that the dognapper lives somewhere in the Miami area, but his pursuers are prepared to take their search statewide and even nationwide if necessary. The man who stole Bonny was caught in the act on surveillance video which can be viewed on the www.whereisbonny.com website along with an artist’s sketch of the perpetrator, pictures of Bonny and all the distasteful details of the dastardly deed.

The toll free Sightings and Tips Hotline is 1-866-293-9550.
Anyone interested in the exact flight plan of the aerial media plane may contact Jim Butler at 1-800-235-9237 or on his cell phone at (954) 559-3309.
