In the town where I was born
There is a festival of fantasy
And people come from all around
Just to be with us here by the sea

All our friends are all aboard
In this festival of fantasy
Sky of blue and sea of green
In our yellow submarine...

 

This three piece float took two weeks to build. It's components were the Yellow Submarine followed by Pepperland followed by a bandstand atop which stood the Beatles (Zack Seemiller and his band) as the Lonely Hearts Club Band. Costumes were challenging, but all participants rose to the occasion and turned up with a dizzying display of colorful creativity.
