Global Warming or The Protectors of the Planet Battle the Villains of Excess and Waste The scientists warned us, they said “Hey beware! This waste can’t continue, we’re spoiling the air!” But now it’s too late, our future looks grim And people can’t fathom the trouble we’re in. There’s a huge lurking monster spawned by our thirst For power and progress and gas is the worst. It’s poised to destroy us, our planet’s transforming… What is this monster?... it’s called Global Warming! There is one last hope though, one call we can make… To the “Planet’s Protectors” who’ll fight for our sake. These Super Heroes will battle our foes, Those Excess and Waste thugs, the source of our woes. So look and enjoy as our float passes by On this Key West parade route under tropical sky But in parting we’ll warn you, to keep your eyes wide If our Heroes should fail us, watch out for high tide. |
